21st annual Pennsylvania Dutch Festival
Thursday, August 12-Saturday, August 14, 8am-5pm

Celebrate the traditions, foods and crafts of the Pennsylvania Dutch at the 21st annual Pennsylvania Dutch Festival. The three-day festival will take place in the Market?s Center Court seating area and will feature handmade crafts and traditional foods. On Saturday, the festival also moves outdoors on Arch Street to create a country fair in the city. Amish buggy rides and horse drawn wagon rides around the Market, a farm animal petting zoo, and live bluegrass music round out the entertainment. $4 parking is available at the Parkway Garage at 12th & Filbert Streets.

This year?s food line-up includes:

Sweet as Fudge: homemade fudge and nut brittles (brittles made in Center Court)

Beiler?s Bakery: homemade donuts (made in Center Court)

L. Halteman Country Foods: sausage sandwiches (made in Center Court)

Miller?s Twist: homemade ice cream (made in Center Court)

Hatville Deli: hot ham sandwiches and funnel cakes (made in Center Court)

Grill at Smucker?s: pot roast

Cooking Classes

La Cucina is proud to continue the tradition of cooking and entertaining classes at Reading Terminal Market. When taking a class, you’ll not only get to observe and sample some fine dishes, but you’ll also find great merchants from whom to purchase your ingredients year ‘round.

What makes our cooking courses the best? Our instructors are great teachers, as well as great chefs. You will receive samples of all the dishes prepared; you will take home recipes for everything; and you will enjoy the wonderful setting.
