We sell gluten-free, vegan, and Halal meat dishes freshly prepared in traditional Indian-Pakistrani style as well as Indian-Pakistani groceries. For ten years, we have been making our delightful dishes fresh every day. We utilize a traditional Tandoor (clay oven) to cook our delicious kabobs and ALL our standard entrees are gluten free. We also offer an assortment of snacks, such as samosas, and specialty drinks, like our yogurt-based Lassi (featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer) and fresh hot or iced Chai (spiced) tea. We have a variety of traditional grocery and spices on our shelves for you to try as well. All of our food is mild with all the non-hot spices you’ll love, and we offer chutneys on the side so that you can spice to your taste. Kids especially love our Chicken Korma, Tikka Masala and chickpeas.
Nanee’s Kitchen was started by two sisters from the northwest Frontier Province in Pakistan. They use the recipes handed down to them by their mother from India (lovingly referred to as grandmother or Nanee). The aromas and flavors of fresh spices and ingreidents leave one wanting more.
